AI predicting disaster events like economic or societal chaos?

I would have to imagine that large investment groups must be using or trying to use AI to predict markets etc.
Does anyone know if AI is being used to predict weather, natural disaters like earthquakes abd hurricanes, and most importantly, societal collapse/workd wars/civil wars?
