So I have recently started a new job where I will potentially be a project manager for some ML based projects. This would be first time managing ML oriented projects, most of my PM experience has been software and telecom oriented.

Would I have to be as thorough as a ML engineer with ML concepts
to be successful at the role of a project manager for a ML project? By thorough I mean know all the levels of associated math …
