Application of DS/ML/DL in Solar energy sector?

I am going to start an internship as a Data scientist/ML Engineer at a Solar Tech company. They mainly need me to add intelligence to their platform. These are the topics I figured would be relevant:


Energy Consumption Forecasting, Optimizing Energy Distribution, Automated Anomaly Detection, Data Visualization and Dashboarding, Customer Segmentation, personalized recommendations to customers based on their usage patterns and preferences, and Solar Irradiance Forecasting.
