Are data science masters just too broad?

Everyone here knows the DS market is way oversaturated and has little hope for recovery.

But then DS, ML and AI is used in so many fields that require a little bit more specialist knowledge. The regular DS titles are generally data analysts/business analysts, so there’s no need for a ton of that.
