If it’s using generative models, there’s no way their gen AI model is using all the reviews, passing it through the model, and summarizing it.

So for products with a high number of reviews, what do you think they’re doing? Finding common words between reviews of the same rating, then summarizing a subset of reviews? How does Amazon know how to rate something like “Quality” as green or yellow or gray for neutral?
