Deep Learning topics

I am a beginner in DL . I am doing a DL course. IT has been 3 weeks and I am completely baffled by topics such as "FEATURE DESCRIPTOR , Bayesian Learning, Discriminant Function and Linear Classifier " The learning material is vague.

Apart from googling & using Chatgpt, could you please suggest books/resources that you found easy for beginners to understand these topics from scratch. Thank You
