[Discussion] New TensorFlow Version - What Happened?

I use TPU VM Pods to train my models. I recently updated my system runtime to tf-2.16.1-pod-pjrt and boy does it have a ton of bugs. This is genuinely the worst I have seen TensorFlow. I usually subclass the TF model object and overwrite the train, test, build... functions. And for some reason it not only ignores my overwriting functions, but it does not even allow me to use things like GRUCell properly. Thankfully I made my work GRUCell layer …
