IBM data science cert?

I'm pretty sure this question has been asked before but does anyone have experience with this coursera cert? I'm specifically asking the value it has in developing job ready skills for someone with no formal STEM background. My situation is I want to get into DS/DA and transition from my current position as a project coordinator in the telecom industry. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
