What is the best LLM to help me with my creative writing?

I've been out of the game for a while. I'm looking to use an LLM for creative writing specifically but general advice is appreciated too.

1) Are there any LLMs that are open source and can be run from google colab? Any that have comparable results to the big box names I mean. This would be my preference.
