Who can submit papers to EMNLP?

I went through their recent website [https://2022.emnlp.org/](https://2022.emnlp.org/) and did not find any particular criteria for the author to be a prerequisite.

I am currently outside academia, i.e. in the industry and planning to submit research work in the coming year. So wanted to understand if I qualify as an author.

Any information on this will be appreciated.
