Lately, biometric systems have been heavily criticized for demographic biases, lack of understanding of the inner workings of the models to support main decisions, etc.

We see "explainable AI" as the ideal approach to mitigate those problems.

As such, we studied the marriage of these two fields of study in a review that you can now read.
