Is there a memory efficient way to do that?
I am looking for solution that could be used in python if possible. So far I've been using this function `warp` in `scikit-image` library.

Hower it converts the input image to float64 which consumes too much memory.
I can't use `OpenCV's` `remap` as it works only for images that are up to a gigapixel …
