Am I screwed?

Hi guys, currently doing my internship which involves building predictive models. I noticed that whenever I am building these models, I have to take references ( be it ChatGPT, Google, or my past projects). Basically, I do not have the ability to build a model from scratch without referring to codes. I am only able to do simple codes like df.dtypes, etc. Is this what everyone is doing? How should i go about this?
