So I work in BI, with an accounting degree, and have a job alert for analytics director roles. I’m seeing a “trend” as it relates to the education required, which usually doesn’t seem relevant to the duties themselves (they’re usually BI duties).
Is this an attempt at companies attracting DS talent to analytics roles? If not, what do you think is causing this preference?
