Annotation tools

I am just getting started in this field, and planning to do some hobby level work. The only tool I have tried thus far is Roboflow. It's completely fine, but I have been a little surprised by the UI, which is adequate but not spectacular. What are some of the other annotation tools out there that would be good for someone with a low budget. I tried to Google this but most of the tools seemed fit for enterprise use.
