Been going back and forth on mastering out from my PhD program in mechanical engineering. Research mostly involves ML though.
I want to be an ML engineer or ML research scientist (not sure yet), and I don’t know whether it’d be better to continue my PhD for another 2-3 years or whether to master out after this summer and then start working in an ML related role.
