Any resources for deep learning on non-image data?

So much of the success of deep learning has been with convolutional neural networks for image recognition and similar applications. There are many famous architectures available (some even built into deep learning APIs like Keras) that work well for these applications.

But what about for non-image applications? Are there any success stories for deep learning regarding something else? Something like predicting individual income from a set of demographic characteristics in the U.S. census?
