Anyone with frustrating issues with the M1 Mac system that hinders data science work?

I bought an M1 Mac recently, and have been having annoying and frustrating issues. Like, tensorflow won't install properly - I mean, it does get installed, but when I 'import tensorflow as tf', it crashes the terminal.
