Many salaries on Glassdoor show pay around $120k. But so many of the jobs that I am applying for I see offering $140k+. This throws me off as I have no idea how much to ask for when they ask what my compensation expectations are. I have 2 yrs Software Developer > 2 yrs Data Engineer > 2 yrs Business Intelligence. Any idea what kind of ballpark range I should be asking for?
