Career Advice: Should I switch from Marketing to NLP/Computational Linguistics as a Linguistics MA?

I am currently in the 3rd semester of my Linguistics MA program in Germany and working as a student in a big company's marketing department. I've had an interest in NLP stuff and have a modest background in Python, nltk, and SQL. (Tried to do some sentiment analysis stuff with web scraping as well, though all these were personal.)
