Career Trajectory: Sitting on the IC / PM Fence

Curious everyone's thoughts about career trajectory in DS/ML space. I've spent 3 years as a Data Scientist, 1 year as a Senior DS, 2 years as a Product Manager, and now back for 1 year as a DS Lead.
