Confused about hypothesis testing a new feature

So we are experimenting with a new feature (adding a partner audio /video editor website pop up every time they download a music) on our royalty free music website and the hypothesis is that people who download the music are using it as a raw material for their own creation so they would need a tool to edit it based on their liking.

I’m a bit confused as to how I should measure / design the testing for this hypothesis …
