Hello! as the post title suggests I'm exploring expanding an object detection dataset by generating synthetic images using real images as base and adding crops of objects from my dataset. I want to discuss if anybody here that has done a process of this kind to expand an object detection dataset? did it actually gave you any improvements? the medium article only posts metrics after adding the synthetic images …
