Looking to build a local workstation (currently datasets are 5tb+ and AWS fees were killing me) and was looking at Threadripper Pro 3975 with either 2x A6000 or 3x 3090 with the potential to add on GPUs down the line. Planning to have 256GB of RAM.

Would the A6000 be better for these types of large datasets? Seems like there seem to be some heating issues for 3090's once you get above 3 GPUs in one workstation.
