So, I'm following a course on pattern recognition. One of the assignments requires us to split a training dataset into two parts, labeled and unlabeled. In the unlabeled training set the labels should be deleted, in order to simulate a dataset that is not fully annotated.

We then follow the following steps:

  1. Use the labeled data and a semi-supervised learning algorithm (e.g. labelpropagation) to train a model that can be used to assign labels to unlabeled data.
