[D] In your opinion, what are some common trends across papers with 'Outstanding Paper' awards?

^^ Like all awards, I know that the 'Outstanding Paper' distinction can be very arbitrary, particularly since the caliber of accepted research papers in ML conferences tends to be high. I'm starting out in ML as an undergrad and have read a few award-winning papers that were really good, but I can't discern them from some other non-awarded papers, which were also equally impressive.
