[D] Is Midjourney AI more-or-less the same architecture as DALL-E 2? Can I read about the model in detail somewhere or is there anything published in this regard?

I would like to study how these modern image generators work, and Midjourney really caught my eye. As far as I know, DALL-E 2 uses a combination of transformers and diffusion networks, which is quite fascinating, but is it the same with Midjourney? It's not a GAN, right? Or is it? Is there any published work for it similar to DALL-E 2?
