I'm sure everyone here has heard about the LaMDA sentience controversy by now, so in addition to linking to its arxiv full text (["LaMDA: Language Models for Dialog Applications" by Thoppilan, et al., 2022](https://arxiv.org/pdf/2201.08239.pdf)), I'd also like to correct a few points that I see most people getting wrong.
