In my previous position, we started out using EKS and sort of hacked together other AWS services and frameworks to build a prod ML pipeline. Most of it was done by other software engineers(not ML engineers), and we were constantly running into various issues and bugs. When we switched to sagemaker, most of which was done by me, a lot of that got squared away.
