[D] What approach do you guys recommend if I'm stuck on understanding some part of a research paper and cant find any relevant information on Google searching?

I tried Google searching some of the stuff in the recent paper (Sync Dreamer) I've been reading. Tried ChatGPT, as well as posting my doubt here on Reddit and stackechange. Is there some techniques you guys use when you cant sense of some paragraphs you read in papers? How do you go about it?
