DS masters in Canada

Hello everyone!

While researching for DS masters in Canada, I have come across two categories: Thesis based and Course based. I understand that thesis based masters are fully funded and that is why I am considering it as an option. However, is it worth doing a thesis if you want to work in the industry? Or is it only relevant if you want to do a PhD and stay in academia?
