cloud pictures are not easy to analyse. i guess the best approach is via block matching algorithm. but is there any other useful sourcecode out there. I want to estimate the cloud velocity. the images were shot 30 seconds apart. now i want to roughly estimate how many pixels a pixel has moved.
And best of all in different resolutions (see sketch pictures). maybe someone already has the software on their computer and can teach me something?
