Estimation problems from 2D to 3D

As part of converting tennis from 2D to 3D we have to draw out ball trajectories. Currently I am mapping ball to a 2D court like this (using perspective transform from tennis court to the image), and by calculating the bounce point I am trying to create 3D trajectories.
