So there's this guy called Mike West, on YouTube as "The Data Janitor".

He says that the data scientist role is pretty much BS and all data scientist jobs are redundant and stupid.

He says that the ML Engineer role is the only real data role (related to machine learning).

Although I do agree that Data Science does have some undeserved hype, I'm not so sure I agree with the rest of it.

What are your thoughts?
