Find unknown angle of watermeters before applying OCR

I would like to read digits from watermeters using OCR.

The water meters have different orientations, and therefore reading the digits by OCR is sometimes not possible.

Therefore, I would like to apply as a preprocessing step an reorientation but I do not know how to find the unknown angle. I would like to use Yolo to detect the text (digits) area and obviously this works best if the text is horizontal.
