First time consulting - hourly rate

I have been contacted to do some consulting in data science. Although I have competency in the field, I have yet to actually work as an employee in it (still a PhD student). The organization, which has limited funds because they are donations-based, contacted me because they cannot afford a company that will charge 300k for their services.
