Fraud data scientists, what do your daily tasks look like?

I am a fraud data analyst working on a fraud operations team for a fintech, and starting to become pretty dissatisfied with my job. I can feel my technical skills fading the longer I stay in this position, and there is so much governance/red tape that I get to spend very little time on work that is meaningful to me.
