Frustrating company won't hire data eng or spend money

I guess I'm seeking validation in this post, or just guidance. I'm a data analyst at a series A startup. I'm the only data person in the company. There's no data engineer, no etl process, and they are not interested in doing anything unless it's free. Tech stack is frustrating and having nobody dedicated to data engineering makes it really hard to keep our tables organized.
