Got my first Data Scientist offer! Now rethinking?

I currently work as a mechanical engineer at an aerospace company and have been looking to transition to data science for awhile now. Doing a MS in Computer Science online (focus on ML) to help with that.

I recently received an offer for a senior data scientist position with another top aerospace company. It’s $145k in the midwest (MCOL) and I currently make $105k in a HCOL city in California, so it is a decent improvement.
