Has anybody ever made a successful model for predicting football matches (Bundesliga, etc..?)

I am going to make one for the Bundesliga because the data of past matches is so easy available online and I would like to improve my coding skills and refresh some ML concepts that I haven’t used for a long time. I have no financial interests nor I want to lose my money validating the model. Just for fun,
