Has anyone applied for/gotten a data science (PhD) internship with Google before? How long was the process?

I'm not particularly hopeful about my odds of hearing back at all because I found out about it pretty late and didn't really put my best foot forward. I'm curious to know how long it was before you received a response after submitting the application. I'm assuming I'll only hear back if I get an interview.
