Physicist looking to become a data scientist here.

Two requirements that nearly every data scientist seems to agree on are Python and SQL.

I have used Python for a while and learned (and unlearned) SQL multiple times.

My questions are, how are they used together?

Do you use Psycopg2 and send raw SQL queries to the database?

Do you use an ORM? In that case why even learn SQL?
