Computer Vision www.reddit.com

Hello !

I work on computer vision & photogrammetry related subjects especially 3D reconstruction for a research project.

I understand the traditional Photogrammetry, SfM, SLAM pipelines but i'm wondering what makes the softwares like Metashape and RC output better results ?

Is there any scientific papers or documentation detailing the methods used in such software behind the scenes?

I'm looking to recreate the same performance with Python or C/C++ code if it's possible
