How I’m pivoting to DS mid-career

I’ve worked in finance and data analytics at tech companies in the US for about 10 years. I’ve always been interested in data science but couldn’t figure out how to pivot. Once I had someone laugh out loud at me and tell me I chose the wrong major. That really deterred me for a while. And YouTube videos about getting into DS just felt overwhelming.
