How is insurance or banking DS industry experience for future career growth?

Have 2 job offers at hand: one from a bank, another from an insurance. I'm coming from an unrelated industry. So seeking advice from veteran DSs out there, is working in these industries going to hurt future career growth? Or does it depend more on the type of projects I'll do?
