I have a strong background in math/stats but have done very little data engineering in the past. I see that it's a very high in demand skill and tend to be higher paid. I'm not a complete newbie, I've deployed models with AWS and some open source platforms in the past and I understand how cloud works, but I've never used tools like databrick, airtable, airflow, very little spark, presto, etc.
