How to find companies (on the internet) based on keywords?

I study Artificial Intelligence and for a project we have to find companies based on a given industry and geographic location like US, Europe, Asia, etc. but I am a bit clueless how. I've searched for databases but either they lack company description or they are not that large. Is there another way to do this?
