How would a professional structure this project idea?

I'm learning Python and I have some SQL that I picked up on the job in a previous role. As part of my learning, I've got a project that I want to complete - my goal is to create a dashboard which will show me the probabilities of certain outcomes in soccer matches using a proprietary formula (nothing too sexy, just custom weighting of recent form, consideration of methods of scoring and conceding goals etc etc).
