I was a biostatistician working in healthcare and I recently got hired in an academic institution as research associate. The job description said that I'm going to work on study designs and clinical data analysis, which seemed the normal data size I'm used to. Also, the job description didn't mention anything related to big data and knowledge in high performance computation.
