I hold back on job applications, compensating with tech dev blogging and ongoing side projects – this ain't effective innit?

I am a Python programmer. I consider myself a jack of all trades, but I tend to work on data-related or AI projects over software engineering. The thing is, I feel like I cannot see my own strengths.
